Today marks a very special milestone for the Royal Albert Dock Liverpool Charitable Foundation as we proudly celebrate 10 years of community, commitment and positive change.
Since its establishment, the Foundation has been driven by a simple but powerful purpose: to support young people gaining the skills and experience needed to find meaningful employment within the Liverpool City Region.
Over the last ten years, the Foundation has worked hand-in-hand with local charities, voluntary groups and business tenants of The Royal Albert Dock. From supporting education and employability opportunities, to championing culture and social inclusion, the Foundation has been proud to deliver projects that have created a lasting impact.
Royal Albert Dock Liverpool is an iconic part of the city’s heritage, but it is the people of Liverpool who shape its future, the foundation was created to ensure that the Dock’s success goes beyond its history, contributing to the wider city and supporting those who need it most.
By listening to local voices and responding to real community needs, the Foundation has remained grounded, relevant and responsive. This people-first approach has helped foster strong relationships and ensured that support reaches where it can make the greatest difference.
Reaching our 10th birthday would not have been possible without the dedication, passion and collaboration of so many individuals and organisations. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our charity partners, community groups, trustees, volunteers and supporters who have shared this journey with us. But most importantly the various business tenants of Royal Albert Dock who support each and every activity we deliver.
