Work Experience Placement Strengthens Partnership with Strawberry Field

In July 2024, the Royal Albert Dock Liverpool Charitable Foundation welcomed a new work experience placement through the Strawberry Field Liverpool Steps to Work Programme.

The placement follows an earlier connection made in April, when Strawberry Field visited the Dock for one of our Career Walking Tours. Since then, the relationship has continued to develop, with Strawberry Field participating in a number of tours and remaining an active partner in our work with young people.

The placement has been taken on as an Admin Assistant and is currently supporting the Foundation with a range of remote and in-person tasks. This includes research work such as compiling contacts and gathering information to support the development of our CRM system, as well as assisting with social media activity in a similar capacity to our existing Social Media Volunteers.

The flexible nature of the placement allows work to be carried out from home when needed, while also supporting in-person collaboration when on site. This approach has enabled meaningful engagement and contribution to ongoing projects, while providing valuable work experience within a supportive environment.

This placement also strengthens the Foundation’s ongoing relationship with Strawberry Field, building on previous visits and continued collaboration through the Career Walking Tours programme.
