The Royal Albert Dock Liverpool Charitable Foundation is delighted to announce that we have been awarded funding from the Pilkington Charities Fund to support the continued development of our Career Walking Tours programme.
The Pilkington Charities Fund supports organisations across Merseyside working to improve opportunities and outcomes for people affected by poverty, ill health, or disadvantage, with a strong focus on strengthening local communities across the Liverpool City Region.
This funding will help us to expand and enhance our Career Walking Tours, which connect young people with real workplace experiences across the Royal Albert Dock. Through visits to local businesses, engagement with professionals, and interactive sessions, students can explore a wide range of career pathways and develop their understanding of the world of work.
The support from the Pilkington Charities Fund will also help strengthen our relationships with employers across the Dock and ensure we can continue delivering meaningful, inspiring experiences for the young people we work with.
