The Royal Albert Dock Liverpool Charitable Foundation is delighted to announce that we have received funding from the Michie Family Trust to support the delivery of two interview skills workshops as part of our ongoing employability programme.
These workshops build on an initiative we originally developed a few years ago, and we are delighted to be bringing them back to support even more young people across the Liverpool City Region.
The sessions will focus on practical interview preparation, including how to approach common questions, communicate strengths and experiences effectively, and understand what employers are looking for. As part of the programme, students will also take part in a mock interview with members of the Albert Dock business community, giving them the opportunity to practise in a real-world setting and receive valuable feedback.
Through interactive activities and supported practice, participants will be able to build confidence, strengthen their communication skills, and develop a better understanding of workplace expectations.
We are extremely grateful to the Michie Family Trust for their support, which will help us continue delivering meaningful opportunities that prepare young people for future education, training, and employment pathways.
