2025 – A Year of Growth, Connection and Opportunity

Over the past year, our programmes have continued to grow in reach, depth and impact. From welcoming more students than ever on our walking tours to strengthening partnerships with local employers and tenants, it’s been a year defined by collaboration, learning and momentum. Here’s a look back at what we achieved together.

Walking Tours:

Our walking tours remained at the heart of our delivery, introducing young people to the Royal Albert Dock and the variety of careers that exist within it. This year, we delivered tours to 64 students, alongside a brand‑new wellbeing initiative that brought in 30 additional adult participants.

These tours continue to be a powerful way to build confidence, spark curiosity and help students imagine themselves in future workplaces.

Career Walking Tours Plus: Deepening Engagement:

Alongside our standard tours, we delivered Career Walking Tours Plus sessions that provide sustained engagement over multiple visits, allowing for deeper relationships and more tailored support.

Interview Skills and One‑to‑One Support:

We delivered an Interview Skills Workshop with Springboard, supporting seven trainees through mock interviews and training—matching last year’s engagement.  We also continued to provide ongoing, flexible support beyond formal sessions.

Our Incredible Dock Community:

None of this would be possible without the businesses who opened their doors, shared their stories and inspired participants. This year, delivery was supported by tenants including Holiday Inn Express, Lunya Lita, The Beatles Story, Revolution, Clockwise, Roly’s Fudge, The Nest, and many more—showcasing the diversity of careers available right here at the Dock.
