Career Walking Tours Plus Returns with First Session for Bank View School

The Royal Albert Dock Liverpool Charitable Foundation was delighted to welcome students from Bank View School for the first session of our second funded Career Walking Tours Plus project on 4th December 2025.

The visit began with a Career Walking Tour led across the Royal Albert Dock, giving students the opportunity to explore a range of local businesses and meet professionals working across different sectors.

During the session, students visited Port Noir Tattoo, where they learned about creative industry careers and the running of a specialist studio. They also visited Roly’s Fudge Pantry Liverpool, gaining insight into retail and customer service roles, before finishing at Revolución de Cuba Liverpool, where they heard about careers in hospitality, events, and customer experience.

The session provided students with valuable opportunities to engage directly with employers, ask questions about different career pathways, and build confidence in speaking with professionals in real workplace settings.

This first visit marks the beginning of Bank View School’s journey on the second Career Walking Tours Plus programme, which will continue to combine workplace experiences with employability skills development and structured learning activities across future sessions.
