The Royal Albert Dock Liverpool Charitable Foundation brought festive cheer to tenants and visitors this Christmas with a series of seasonal activities, including Christmas candy canes and our annual Winter Raffle.
Following the success of our tenth birthday celebrations and the jellybean gift bags shared with tenants earlier in the year, the Foundation continued the tradition of spreading a little joy across the Dock. This time, Christmas candy canes were distributed to tenants, each one including a festive label wishing everyone a Merry Christmas from the Foundation. The labels also featured QR codes linking directly to our EasyFundraising page and Winter Raffle ticket page, helping to encourage continued support for our work in a simple and accessible way.
Alongside this, our Winter Raffle returned with a fantastic selection of 20 prizes generously donated by businesses across the Royal Albert Dock and wider Liverpool area. The raffle was promoted both in person and online, making use of our card payment system introduced in the summer, alongside social media promotion which helped reach a wider audience.
In total, 164 tickets were sold at £2 each, raising £316.61 (after transaction fees). The funds raised will go towards supporting the Foundation’s ongoing work with young people across the Liverpool City Region.
The festive campaign provided a great opportunity to connect with tenants and supporters while celebrating the season and highlighting the strength of the Dock community.
