The Royal Albert Dock Liverpool Charitable Foundation is delighted to welcome Elliot Marsden as a Trustee, bringing both business experience and a genuine passion for helping young people find direction and opportunity.
Elliot is Director and co-owner of MCS Group, a growing IT services business based in the North West. While his professional focus has been on building a successful company, his decision to join the Foundation comes from a deeper motivation to give back and support others at an earlier stage in their journey.
“I’ve spent a lot of my life focused on building something and pushing forward, but stepping into this role has made me reflect on how important it is to help people at the very start of their path. Not everyone has access to the same opportunities, guidance, or confidence early on. What the Foundation is doing is creating those opportunities in a very real and practical way.”
The Foundation works with young people across the Liverpool City Region, many of whom face barriers to employment, helping them build confidence, develop skills, and take meaningful steps towards their future. Through workshops, mentoring, and connections with local businesses at the Dock, it offers experiences that can genuinely change direction and outlook.
Elliot joins the Board at a time where the Foundation is focused on growing its reach and deepening its impact. He is particularly interested in helping strengthen the Foundation’s long-term vision, ensuring that its work continues to deliver meaningful, measurable outcomes for the young people it supports.
“I’m looking forward to getting involved, understanding the individuals we’re supporting, and playing a part in helping the Foundation grow. If we can help even more young people move into work, education, or simply gain belief in themselves, that’s a powerful outcome.”
As a Trustee, Elliot will work alongside fellow board members and the Foundation team to continue building opportunities, partnerships, and pathways that support the next generation across the region.
