On 24 February 2026, the Royal Albert Dock Liverpool Charitable Foundation delivered an Interview Skills Workshop at the Holiday Inn Express Liverpool – Albert Dock for students taking part in a Springboard hospitality training course focused on bartending.
The session included a mix of practical activities designed to build confidence and improve interview technique, including strengths-based exercises, interview preparation tasks, guidance on presenting yourself professionally, and practice using structured answers. Students also took part in realistic mock interviews to help them apply what they had learned in a supportive, real-world setting.
A key part of the workshop was the involvement of Royal Albert Dock hospitality tenants, who generously gave their time to conduct mock interviews and share feedback with students. We would like to thank teams from Peaberrys Coffee House, Lunya Lita, Revolution Liverpool Albert Dock, Holiday Inn Express Liverpool – Royal Albert Dock, and Long Shot Bar for their support and involvement on the day.
Their input helped give students a valuable opportunity to experience real interview situations and gain insight into what employers are looking for, making the session both engaging and impactful.
